Defect Treatment of Water Resource and Environmental Engineering

Through seepage prevention and water stop materials and ecological restoration technology, we optimize river management and water ecological maintenance scenarios, promoting water resource protection and sustainable utilization.

Underwater lining plate repair project of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project

The middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, Phase I, commenced construction in December 2003 and officially started water diversion in December 2014. With a total length of 1432 kilometers, it draws water from the Tao Cha intake of Danjiangkou Reservoir. Along its route, canals were excavated, passing through the western part of the Tangbai River basin, crossing the watershed of Fangchengya Pass between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River basins, and running along the western edge of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain. It provides drinking and industrial water to 19 large and medium-sized cities, including Beijing and Tianjin, and more than 100 counties (county-level cities) in the North China Plain. It also serves agricultural water needs. The average annual water diversion volume is 9500 million cubic meters. The project mainly uses open canals for water conveyance, with some sections using culverts.
